Since 1999, Microtech has been refining and perfecting the Ultratech, and nowadays they have some of the best and most reliable OTF action, being easy to both deploy and retract in the blink of an eye. Standard Ultratechs come equipped with a 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum handle chassis, extremely lightweight and pretty basic-shaped, while still having slight contouring so it sits comfortably in your hand. Six total sets of jimping on both spine sides of the handle add to the already superb grippability of the knife, and give you more leverage over the knife while completing your cutting tasks. This is furthered by the aggressively textured thumb slide, another spot that your thumb will naturally find itself during use.

With multiple blade shape options, the Ultratech comes in around 8.35” in total length with a roughly 3.3” blade, plus/minus a slight bit depending on blade style. This here is an incredible Signature Series Ultratech made by Microtech. With a stunning Damascus double-edged dagger blade, along with a carbon fiber face/top side handle scale, this knife is something to behold for sure. With the same snappy Microtech OTF action, and a black-coated Signature Series pocket clip, this guy makes for as great of an EDC as it does a mantle-knife. To top things off, the black hardware, including the proprietary screws and the ball-tip glass breaker have been ringed, giving this model Ultratech just a little bit of extra flair. These go quick, so snag one while you can.
