The Warren Osborne designed Benchmade 940 stands as one of the most beloved and most carried pocket knives in the world. One of the most one-hand friendly folders on the market, the Osborne operates on Benchmades famed AXIS bar-lock and opens easily with ambidextrous dual thumb studs, meaning righties and lefties can all enjoy this amazing piece of work. With a thin blade stock, made with CPM S30V stainless steel, these guys are made to be super slicey while still having shaving/carving capabilities, and the modified reverse tanto blade shapes gives you a strong tip for piercing. All of this combined makes the Osborne one of the most versatile knives around. The handle on these models are fairly simple-shaped, but contouring all around makes it incredibly ergonomic, while minimalistic jimping on the spine and near the finger guard give you a spot for your index and thumb to rest during use. A widened part of the base of the spine also acts as a nice thumb-stop for when you need extra leverage. 

For conditions that may end up a bit slippery, this 940-2 model of the Benchmade Osborne comes with grippy G-10 handle scales, offering a bit more texture than their aluminum counterparts. The blade is still a reverse tanto made with CPM-S30V stainless steel, finished satin. The handle scales are black and feature green anodized barrel spacers for some flair.
