The Benchmade Auto Immunity has swiftly stepped itself into the list of some of my (Nate) all-time favorite automatic knives. Featuring a tight AXIS bar lock spring, the 2.49" blade comes snapping out of the handle in less than the blink of an eye. When closed up, a sturdy spine-side safety switch allows you to securely lock this little guy up. Other than the switch, the rest of the spine is open-backed on the Auto Immunity, allowing you to clean it out with east. 

The 6061-T6 aluminum handle scales on this new knife have a neat dragon skin-like texturing, which rigid enough to help with grip, but still smooth allowing it to feel great in-hand. Machining/contouring to the handle scales give you spots to comfortably rest each of your fingers, and a choil at the base of the blade not only helps with sharpening, but gives you a spot to put your index finger when choking up. In this position, jimping on the spine of the blade is perfectly placed for your thumb.

This unique little guy has a wharncliffe-style blade at 2.49" with a cobalt black cerakote coating. It is constructed with rugged CPM-M4 steel. The aluminum handle is anodized with a deep woodland green while the pocket clip and hardware are all coated black. This model includes a black lanyard with a black lanyard bead.
