The HALO (High Altitude, Low Open) is the first automatic single action, out-the-front (OTF), knife Microtech produced. The HALO’s plunge lock mechanism, when deployed, provides the absolute tightest lock up possible. When retracted, the knife can be easily concealed. The one handed, fast action open, has fired its way into the hands of thousands of protective agents. HALO’s smooth lines, light weight, and deadly edge, provide a little more than just back. This new HALO, the 6Th generation has all the power and more a safety slide toggle within the fire button. To deploy simply slide the switch down and press button to deploy. With the flared base, retracting the Tanto blade is easier.

New for 2026 is the redesigned contoured handle with amazing ergonomics and a bit of jimping! This new version of the cult-classic Halo has Microtech innovation writen all over it! They slimmed it down a bit, gave it a nice titanium clip, double vapor blasted hardware, which gives it a muted or matte look and of course, Torx Screws! The Halo IV still has the punch and sophistication of the previous versions, yet the IV's take it up a notch with all the amenities of a night out knife.
