Benchmade, a very well-known US-based knife manufacturer, offers a huge number of products that all make for a great pocket knife. From fixed blades, to automatics, to their signature AXIS-lock manuals, Benchmade’s growing list of options continues to impress. Released in 2017, the Bugout has made waves in the everday carry pocket knife industry. When released, the knife community was shocked by the mixture of tacticallity, simplicity, and weightlessness behind the Bugout. Many knives have hit the market trying to model the classic Bugout by the US-based company, but the Bugout remains near the top of the Mount Rushmore of EDC knives. Incredibly lightweight, but featuring high-grade materials to get nearly any job done, the Bugout is a knife everybody should own. If you don’t already, the Benchmade Bugout comes in a large number of handle/blade color combos and materials. The specific “base” model 535 came with a blue colored handle and satin plain edge CPM-S30V blade. The thumb studs and backspacer were finished blue as well, while the hardware and pocket clip are all black coated.
