Taking the OTF world by storm, the Benchmade Shootout is a reliable tool with a lightweight and thin profile with tons of capabilities. Made with grivory handles scales, this Shootout features CPM-Z-Wear drop point blade, making it ready for a hard-days use every day. Extremely lightweight, being less than 3 oz., these guys are a great everyday carry that can be used over and over throughout the day. Considering it's full-size, with a 3.51" blade, the proportions on this guy are super impressive, and the smooth and low-rate-misfire double-action mechanism gives you all the dependability you could ever need. Unlike many spine-side-slide OTFs, the Shootout is easy to function, having a switch that is unlikely to dig a hole in your thumb, while still having enough retention to keep it from going off when you don't want it to. 

During use is when the Shootout really shines. The handle scales are contoured and have differing textures all over so you always have a great grip and can really get behind your blade for extra leverage. Jimping on the inside part of the spine put your index and pinky fingers comfortably at rest. With a reversible mini deep-carry pocket clip and a glass breaker, the Shootout makes for an incredible EDC as well as an emergency tool. 

New for 2026, this model of the Benchmade Shootout has signature Taiga Green finished grivory handle scales. The CPM Z-Wear drop point blade is given a FDE PVD battlewash coating and the hardware is Burnt Copper in color. The Pocket clip is black. Z-Wear is a balancing act between high toughness and wear resistance.
