The Buck Sprint has received yet another update. This 843 Sprint OPS now has a reverse tanto shaped blade, which is a bit more versatile due to the piercing ability without losing the classic slicey drop point edge. The flipper mechanism sits on ball-bearings, allowing for extremely smooth and a much faster manual opening action. These Bucks are so smooth on the opening action that they feel assisted, but obviously they are not. In addition to easy opening, the strong stainless steel liner lock allows for great lock-up and easy close-up action. The blade-drop after releasing the liner is impressive and not often seen on Buck knives. The blades on the 843 knives are tempered with Buck’s Paul BOS heat-treatment, and are given high-grade steel, allowing for incredible edge retention and overall sharpness. Bucks forever warranty is just the icing on the cake for these awesome US-made knives.

With a black cerakote coated blade and black marbled carbon fiber handle scales, this 843 Sprint OPS looks the part when it comes to class and tacticality. Not to mention the hardware and tip-up removable pocket clip are all blacked-out as well. The reverse tanto blade on this model, 0843CFS, is made of top-of-the-line CPM S45VN stainless steel. If you’re not a fan of the classic Buck style, their brand new Sprint OPS series should blow you away. These things are as smooth as they come and make for both a great everyday carry and a fun fidget.
