 The Gerber Gear 06 Auto is a full-sized and hard-hitting push button automatic with tons of personality. Being over 8.5" overall with a nearly 4" blade, this guy is ready for hard-use. Popular with the military community, the 06 has an enlarge deployment button for easy use while wearing thick gloves. This is accentuated by the aggressive contouring and choiling of the handle, which gives you the chance to grip the aluminum handle with a full-hand grip. Additionally, the handle is given a wide blade guard, giving you even more leverage during use. Add on some jimping along both the spine and the pinky spot of the handle and you've got yourself a comfortable and easy to manipulate pocket knife. Being so large in size, the 06 is surprisingly lightweight, being just over 7 oz., and coming with a pocket clip and incorporated lanyard hole, the Gerber 06 Automatic is one of those few EDC-able 8.5"+ automatic pocket knives. 

This model Gerber 06 Auto, 30-001263, is the special 10 Year Anniversary edition, coming with a USA flag design on the blade as well as some ten year insignia. The blade is made of CPM S30V stainless steel, has been stonewashed, and is in the drop point style. The aluminum handle is given milling and has been cerakote coated with a deep green. The pocket clip and hardware (other than the push button) are all finished black.
