The Gerber Fastball Flipper is a smooth-functioning folder that pivots on ball bearings and is constructed with a precise detent mechanism for an easy "light switching" operation. A slight flick of the jimped flip-tab flings out your 3" blade with incredible speed. A full liner lock mechanism provides a tight lock-up whether your knife is open or closed. Being so easy to operate, the Fastball is an easy one-handed user knife, as you can use your index to open and a press of your thumb to the liner will nearly drop-shut your blade. 

The handle on these guys are thin and lightweight, being given a super ergonomic shape, while the enlarged finger guard and flipper tab doubles as a place to put your index while choking up on your blade. With a three-position pocket clip and a large lanyard hole, you'll never run out of options when it comes to carrying a Gerber Fastball. 

This model of the Gerber Fastball Flipper, 30-001610, comes with a unique wharncliffe style blade, finished stonewash, and made of CPM S30V stainless steel. The aluminum handle scales on this model have been anodized green, while the pocket clip is a standard stainless.
