GiantMouse ACE Corta Blackout – Black PVD Coated Bohler M390 Drop Point Blade – Black G-10 Handle – Brass Backspacer – Tactical Black Hardware & Wire Pocket Clip – Liner Lock Flipper – Reate Knives

GiantMouse Knives boasts an array of high-quality knives at an affordable price. An idea sparked over drinks at a US knife show in 2015, world renowned knife designers Jens Anso and Jesper Voxnaes are behind the design of these impressive pieces that feature mostly manual flippers and thumb hole openers. GiantMouse knives are produced in either Maniago, Italy, or by reliable China-based manufactures including Reate and Bestech. Most GiantMouse knives have a Scandanavian influenced profile, and you can often tell who designed them at first glance. Us at SRKT began carrying GiantMouse knives in 2021 and are beyond happy with the pieces that we have seen. Additionally, GiantMouse comes out with new models often, and their designs seem to keep getting better. Whether you prefer thumb studs/holes, flipper tabs, or slipjoints, GiantMouse is sure to have a knife that you’ll love to have in your pocket everyday. High-grade steels, titanium, micarta and more are used by GiantMouse, resulting in dependable knives that are easy to sharpen and difficult to beat up. We’ve noticed that GiantMouse knives clearly have a high level of attention to detail, as the ergonomics and function of each of their models is astounding. Additionally, Anso and Voxnaes tend to name GM knives after places or things that have important meaning to them, adding an extra touch of designer-personality. Their standard line, ACE, their fixed blades, and their 400-piece limited GM line all boast a number of pieces that do nothing but impress.

The GiantMouse Corta, another one of their new 2022 models, is my (Nate) personal favorite. Incredible smooth flipper action and a tight liner lock make this knife so easy and fun to use. Perfected ergonomics and high-grade materials give the Corta the reliability it needs to be classified as a solid everyday carry. A great fidget knife that doubles as a dependable work knife, everybody needs a Corta. Modeled after the limited GM6, with a plain edge saber grind, made of possibly the best knife steel out there – Bohler M390 – the Corta can’t get much more reliable. This will be a knife that will turn into your everyday carry, as once you pick it up, it’s incredibly hard to put it back down.

This Blackout model of the Corta has a sterile and tactical look. Black G-10 scales give it supreme grip, and the black PVD coated blade has minimal printing, making the knife extra clean-looking. The reversible wire pocket clip and hardware are finished black as well, as the brass backspacer and ball bearings are the only non-black parts visible on this knife. This model surely fits the “blackout” tag it has received.
