Piranha Knives Co. may not be the most well-known knife company out there, but to us, they are severely underrated and make some of the smoothest and hard hitting automatic and out the front pocket knives. A majority of their offerings are side-opening autos, but their line of OTFs are just as impressive. The Excalibur is a thick-handled out the front with an awesome and snappy action. With a face-side switch, not many people are going to have trouble operating this guy, as the button slides with ease in both directions and is assisted by some heavy jimping for your thumb. The handle scales are made of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy, meaning they are incredible durable, and have been contoured and given a texturing on either "spine" which allows the knife to sit comfortably in-hand. During use, the texturing gives you some extra leverage to get behind the knife. When closed up, the Excalibur is surprisingly discreet looking, as the handle is a fairly basic shape, not jumping out at you and screaming that it's holding onto a blade inside of it. Featuring a CPM S30V double edge dagger blade, these models out of Piranha toe the line between show-offish and usability. 

This is one of Piranhas flashy versions of the Excalibur OTF. Featuring their signature silver anodized aluminum handle, this model P-8ST stands out amongst the crowd. The black double edged S30V blade brings it a bit back down to earth, but this model is still one for the ages.
