The first and original Spring-Assisted AXIS lock pocket knife, the Benchmade 580 Barrage is a fast-opening folder that operates with ambidextrous dual thumb studs, With the AXIS bar lock, righties and lefties can enjoy the Barrage all the same. Nowadays, you an get many Benchmade models in a "mini" version. All it takes to deploy your 2.9" blade is a flick of either of the studs, as the blade pivots just about as quick as a typical side-opening automatic. With an incorporated spine-side safety switch for locking while open or closed, the Mini Barrage is known to have one of the strongest spring-assist lock-ups on the market. The handle scales are shaped simply, but grooves are put into all the right places, giving each of your fingers a place to rest during use. Add on some slash-texturing, and you've got a knife with great grip and superb functionality. Rounded off with a reversible tip-up pocket clip, these guys are a great fit for anyone. 

This is Benchmade's new Mini Barrage for 2025! The Benchmade Mini Barrage, the 585BK-04, comes with a Black Cerakote drop point blade in CPM S30V. The handle scales are an amazing Redstone Richlite, a durable composite of recycled paper and resin. The pocket clip is a PVD dark copper and both thumb studs are anodized burnt copper, adding to the amazingness of this new Barrage. The liners and hardware are all black.
