Ther StrongArm by Gerber is one of their most popular fixed blade knives. Made in the United States, these guys are wicked beefy and come with incredibly versatile sheathing systems. The blade on the Strong Arm measures up to about 4.9 inches and is nearly 0.2" thick. This makes these guys capable of nearly anything, as the super sharp edge lets you handle fine work, while still being able to turn around and baton some thick wood. The spine of the blade is thick enough to get tons of leverage behind, and are often utilized as a striking point for batoning. Built full-tang, these guys are just about as strong and rugged as a fixed blade comes. Over the tang is a molded rubber handle, being diamond-textured for incredible grip, meaning you can use the StrongArm in nearly any environment. A slight finger guard gives you space to choke up on the blade and keeps your fingers safe during a full-hand grip. A striking pommel at the butt of the handle will help get you out of any emergency situations. 

The sheath included with the StrongArm is one of its main selling points. Super customizable, these guys come with a nylon webbing for a standard drop leg carry. Coming with an additional horizontal belt hoop and snap-in MOLLE strap, you can set up the sheath for horizontal or vertical carry on yourself. When needed, the sheath can be easily converted to a MOLLE set-up. 

This here is the Foliage or OD Green version of the Gerber StrongArm. From the stonewash 420HC blade to the green rubber handle all the way to every part of the MOLLE sheath, everything on this model comes fully usable in the field.
