The Microtech UTX-85 has the perfect name, as it comes in at 85% of the size of its more well-known brother the Ultratech. A great size for smaller hands or those who don't have a ton of pocket space, but still need a near-full sized knife for their cutting applications, the X85 in our opinion is one of the most practically sized OTFs from Microtech. With the same incredible action that comes with all of their offerings, these guys will never fail you as a daily carry knife. Nearly the entire design is the same on these smaller knives as on the Ultratechs, but the 85s seem to fit a bit better in-hand, especially when using the knife over and over throughout the day. 

Simple but perfectly practical and versatile, this 231-11 model of the UTX-85 has a standard black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle. The Bohler M390 blade, however, comes in a nice drop point style with partial serrations, meaning you can get out of a variety of situations with one of these guys in your pocket.
